Q: Why is this happening?
A: Your insurance company's restrictions have made it very hard for us to keep providing the same level of care that we take great pride in.
Q: Can I still see Dr. Neka?
A: Of course! Now that we're out of network, your exam will be discounted to $115 ($199 if you wear contacts) and will include retinal imaging for FREE. We'll provide you with the website you need to go to in order to submit for partial reimbursement from EyeMed. For those on MEDICARE, know that Medicare covers eye exams; we are happy to check into this for you!
Q: What if I need glasses or contacts?
A: We'll always provide you with your Rx after your exam so you can shop around! We also now provide an eyeglass package deal that is sometimes cheaper than going through your EyeMed insurance. Should you choose to purchase from us, we'll show you how to submit for partial reimbursement!
Did you know most VSP plans have benefits that expire at the end of December?
Use it or lose it! We now have frames that are 100% covered by almost every VSP plan (and they’re cute too, believe it or not)! Come on in to avoid the rush ASAP! The last week of 2023, our hours will be VERY limited, so we recommend coming in before then!

Our after-school appointments are booking up fast
Please call soon if you’re trying to get your kiddo in for an after-school appointment with Dr. Neka this year. It is currently about a 1-month wait to get in for an exam after 3:00 PM. We are happy to add you to our “late appointment” wait list too, if you’d like!

Did you know that we are a CO Medicaid Provider?
We now accept CO Medicaid for exam + glasses. Medicaid will cover glasses, if needed, for patients under the age of 21. And if visits are needed more than once/year, those extra visits are often covered as well. Call us for more details or schedule online!
